About Me

Dr. Firestone is the only fellowship-trained ocular oncologist and pathologist in Oklahoma, specializing in the care of patients with tumors in or around the eye. He performs microscopic evaluations of eye biopsies and treats both adults and children with a wide range of conditions, from benign lesions to cancers such as melanoma and retinoblastoma. His team collaborates with cancer specialists across the region to provide comprehensive, high-quality eye cancer treatment.

A native of southern Oklahoma, Dr. Firestone earned his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, where he received the William Neptune Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014. He completed his medical education at the University of Oklahoma and served as chief resident during his ophthalmology residency. He further honed his expertise through fellowships in ocular oncology and pathology at Wills Eye Hospital, the largest eye cancer center in the United States.

Dr. Firestone served as a Clinical Associate Professor for over a decade, training numerous ophthalmology residents and fellows, delivering lectures, and contributing to publications in ocular oncology and pathology. He is dedicated to providing expert care for eye-related lesions through his practice.
