About Me
Dr. Brian Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on the medical management of retinal diseases. He treats conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, and inherited retinal dystrophy. Dr. Lee joined Kaiser Permanente because of its emphasis on excellent patient care and the integration of technology in healthcare.
His training includes medical school at Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson School of Medicine, an internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, a residency at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, and a fellowship in retina at the University of California, Los Angeles. This comprehensive education has equipped him with advanced skills in ophthalmology.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Lee is passionate about outdoor activities like camping and backpacking, as well as cooking, baking, and cycling. He is also a photographer and a dedicated father. Professionally, he is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
