About Me
Dr. Brenda Bohnsack serves as the Division Head of Ophthalmology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and holds the Lillian Sherman Cowen Reiger and Harold L. S. Cowen Research Professorship in Pediatric Ophthalmology. She is also a Professor of Ophthalmology and Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Bohnsack specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, providing comprehensive care for children with complex eye conditions. Her clinical expertise includes childhood glaucomas, congenital eye diseases, pediatric cataracts, uveitis, strabismus, and eye muscle disorders. She is dedicated to advancing treatment for pediatric eye disorders through her clinical work and research.
With extensive training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, as well as orbital and ocular development, Dr. Bohnsack offers expert management of both common and rare eye conditions in children. She leads a team committed to delivering high-quality, family-centered care and improving visual outcomes for her patients.
