Dr. Bradley Hansen

Elli A. Park, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with Boston University Eye Associates. She provides thorough medical and surgical eye care for adults, including evaluation of cataracts and glaucoma, management of diabetic eye disease and uveitis, and treatment of common ocular surface and eyelid conditions. Dr. Park enjoys helping patients understand their exam findings and options so they can make comfortable, well-informed decisions about their vision. Dr. Park earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. As part of an academic eye care team, she works closely with optometry and subspecialty colleagues to coordinate care, from routine exams to complex referrals. Her approach combines up-to-date techniques with an easy-to-follow, step-wise plan tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.

Dr. Thuzar Thein is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Mass Eye and Ear and an instructor in ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. She provides complete eye care with a focus on cataract evaluation and surgery, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of common eye conditions. Dr. Thein earned a BA in Neuroscience from Amherst College and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine before completing her medical degree at Harvard Medical School. She went on to an internship at Mount Auburn Hospital and ophthalmology residency at Yale School of Medicine. This combination of rigorous scientific training and surgical experience informs a careful, evidence-based approach to each visit. Dr. Thein is committed to education—making time to answer questions, set expectations, and discuss lens choices and recovery—and she collaborates with colleagues across Mass General Brigham to coordinate subspecialty care when needed. She welcomes new patients in Boston and Stoneham.

Clifford B. Kim, MD, is an Ophthalmology Hospitalist at Mass Eye and Ear and an Instructor in Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. He provides emergency eye care and inpatient consultation for patients admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, and teaches fellows and residents in the Mass Eye and Ear Emergency Department. Patients and trainees alike benefit from his experience with urgent ophthalmic conditions and his interest in telemedicine. Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and completed ophthalmology residency through Harvard Ophthalmology after an internship at Cambridge Health Alliance. During training he conducted translational research on neovascular retinopathies and ocular hypertension and has authored peer-reviewed publications.
