Dr. Barbara E. K. Klein is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she cares for patients with age-related eye diseases and diabetic eye complications. Her clinical expertise includes glaucoma, cataract, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

With over three decades of research experience, Dr. Klein has been involved in landmark epidemiologic studies that have shaped the understanding and management of these conditions.
