Dr. Balaji Gupta

Dr. Balaji Gupta is an ophthalmologist who provides care for patients with conditions such as cataracts, strabismus, and pediatric eye disorders, as well as eyelid surgeries. He built his medical foundation at Northwestern University and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois. He served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force and pursued additional training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Gupta has held academic roles at the University of Illinois, University of Chicago, and Loyola University.

Dr. Gupta is a National Merit Scholar, AOA honoree, and Golden Apple teaching award recipient. He is a past president of the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Known for his skill and compassion, Dr. Gupta is dedicated to restoring not just vision—but hope.
