About Me
Dr. Azad Mansouri is a retina specialist who discovered his passion for ophthalmology while examining a classmate's retina in medical school. He completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by an ophthalmology residency there and a surgical retina fellowship at the National Retina Institute. Dr. Mansouri joined Kaiser Permanente in 2016 and serves as a surgical retina specialist in their Ophthalmology Department.
His practice is dedicated to managing retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. He believes that timely diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and regular follow-up are crucial for optimal visual outcomes. Dr. Mansouri stays abreast of advancements in retina care to provide therapeutic and surgical options for his patients.
Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Mansouri enjoys general aviation, tennis, learning new languages, chess, and travel, valuing harmony in his personal and professional life.
