Dr. Patrick earned his medical degree at LSU Health New Orleans and completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He completed his Ophthalmology residency through the U.S. Air Force at Brooke Army Medical Center, later serving as Medical Director of the Ophthalmology Department at Keesler Medical Center and teaching refractive and cataract surgery to residents.
