About Me
Dr. Ashley Pickering treats eye diseases and disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, macular degeneration, trauma, diabetic retinopathy and more.
A Belmont native, Dr. Pickering earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mississippi State University in Starkville in 2014 and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2018. She completed residency training in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport.
Dr. Pickering graduated summa cum laude from MSU, where she received the Stephen D. Lee Scholar Award and was a member of the Shackouls Honors College. She sees patients at Tupelo Eye Center in Tupelo and its satellite clinics in West Point, Mississippi, and Hamilton, Alabama.
