About Me
Dr. Anjum S Cheema is an ophthalmologist who is originally from New Orleans and is the youngest of three brothers. What he enjoys most about practicing medicine is the ability to establish long-lasting relationships with patients and learning how to care for them in the best way possible. He is a member of the Kaiser Permanente Ophthalmology Department, where the team strives to provide excellent care to maximize eye health.
His practice includes a range of services such as diabetic eye screenings, glaucoma screenings, cataract evaluation, general eye care, and various surgical procedures, with a focus on cataract surgery. Dr. Cheema is board-certified in ophthalmology and has completed specialized training in glaucoma through a fellowship at Stanford University.
Dr. Cheema speaks English, Spanish, and Urdu, which helps him connect with a diverse patient population. He believes in balancing work with family, which provides perspective and makes him a better physician and person. He is currently accepting new patients and practices at the Kaiser Permanente Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center.
