Dr. Anjali Hawkins

Dr. Anjali S. Hawkins is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She provides comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma, offering both medical and surgical treatment options, and also performs cataract surgery. Dr. Hawkins is known for her thorough and compassionate approach; she takes time to listen to her patients, explains conditions and treatments clearly, and works collaboratively with each individual to develop a personalized care plan.

Dr. Hawkins completed her fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary after her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. She holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University Medical Center and is on staff at several area hospitals. Her dedication to advancing eye care is also reflected in her involvement in clinical research and volunteer work with community health partnerships.
