About Me
Dr. Andrew Melson is a neuro-ophthalmologist and comprehensive ophthalmologist at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, where he serves as the Residency Program Director for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine’s Department of Ophthalmology. He provides a dual practice that includes the surgical management of adult strabismus, optic nerve sheath fenestrations, and cataracts, including premium intraocular lens (IOL) services.
Dr. Melson completed his neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in 2019 and joined the institute as faculty. He is well published in his areas of expertise, holds national leadership positions in subspecialty organizations, and teaches at cataract courses for residents nationwide.
