Dr. Andrew Bainnson

Dr. Bainnson is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology. He focuses on the diagnosis and medical and laser treatment of all forms of glaucoma. In addition to glaucoma, he treats common ophthalmic conditions such as diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, cataracts, vascular eye disorders, eye infections, and pediatric eye conditions. During his training, he conducted pharmacology research at the University of Michigan and published his findings in the Journal of Pharmacology.

A Long Island native, Dr. Bainnson believes in a partnership approach with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. He is passionate about the difference comprehensive eye care can make in a patient's quality of life, drawing from his own early experience with vision correction.
