Dr. Aleksandr Kagan

Dr. Aleksandr Kagan is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retina and uveitis. He provides medical and surgical care for patients with retinal diseases, including conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments. Dr.

Kagan completed his medical education at the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete an ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in retina and uveitis at the same institution. Dr. Kagan is a member of the American Medical Association and the Illinois State Medical Society. He sees patients at the Springfield Clinic Main Campus in Springfield, Illinois.
