Dr. Aiyin Chen

Dr. Aiyin Chen is the Head of the Glaucoma Division and an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the OHSU School of Medicine. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataract, providing comprehensive care for these conditions.

Dr. Chen completed her undergraduate degree in neuroscience and behavior at Cornell University and earned her medical degree from the University of California. She then completed her ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Born in Taiwan, she is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and is also conversant in Spanish.

In her free time, Dr. Chen enjoys playing piano, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
