About Me
Dr. Adam Abroms, MD is a board-certified eye surgeon and ophthalmologist who has been in practice on the Central Coast since 1999. In his more than two decades of practice, he has performed tens of thousands of vision correction and ocular reconstructive procedures, including cataract surgery, LASIK, strabismus surgery, eyelid surgery, Botox injections, pterygium surgery, and glaucoma surgery. He is referred by doctors throughout a large geographic region and has been chosen by numerous doctors to manage their own eye conditions and perform surgery on themselves and their family members.
Through his emphasis on constant ongoing education and training, Dr. Abroms provides superior, state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care. He has done eye surgery and lectured internationally in India, Vietnam, Costa Rica, and Honduras and has published research articles in scientific journals.
Dr. Abroms earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and his Doctor of Medicine from McGill University. He completed an internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the University of California Irvine, and completed a strabismus fellowship with Dr. Marshall Parks in Washington DC.
