About Me
Dr. Zachary Joos is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon who specializes in eyelid and facial plastic surgery. His clinical expertise encompasses a variety of procedures including eyelid surgery for both functional and cosmetic purposes, complex cataract surgery, and the management of ocular trauma. With additional fellowship training in oculoplastic, orbital, and lacrimal surgery, he is adept at addressing disorders of the eye sockets and tear ducts.
Dr. Joos completed his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center, where he also served as the Associate Residency Program Director. His commitment to education and patient care is evident in his approach.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Joos is the team oculoplastic surgeon for the Seattle Seawolves rugby team, providing specialized care for athletes. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
