Dr. Yafeng Li

Yafeng Li, MD, PhD, is an ophthalmologist whose practice focuses on medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. He cares for patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal detachments, and complex inflammatory and infectious retinal conditions. Dr. Li emphasizes careful examination, evidence-based treatments, and close follow-up to protect and improve vision.

Dr. Li received his medical education at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed fellowship training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He speaks English, Chinese, and French and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
