Dr. William Bigham

Dr. Bigham is an ophthalmologist who sees patients at his office in Coronado, California. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed a surgical internship at the National Naval Medical Center. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the San Diego Naval Hospital and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at Wills Eye Hospital.

Dr. Bigham focuses on refractive surgery, offering LASIK and PRK to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. These laser procedures reshape the cornea to reduce or eliminate the need for eyeglasses. He performs these treatments in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to return home the same day.
