About Me
Dr. Warren Sobol is a retinal specialist with University Hospitals who sees patients with medical and surgical diseases of the retina. He specializes in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other vitreoretinal conditions, offering surgical management for retinal disease.
Dr. Sobol brings extensive experience from 28 years of practice in Dayton, Ohio, where he was also active in resident training. He continues his commitment to education at University Hospitals, overseeing ophthalmology residents in retinal clinical training and operating room experience. His clinical duties include treating patients at the UH Cleveland Medical Center and UH Landerbrook Health Center, and he performs surgeries at UH Cleveland Medical Center and Suburban Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Sobol has volunteered as a surgeon overseas since 2002, providing retinal care in developing countries. He has presented his experiences at professional meetings and continues to travel yearly for humanitarian work.
