Dr. Victor Wang

Dr. Victor Wang is an ophthalmologist who was born and raised in Connecticut. He completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular Genetics and his medical degree at the University of Rochester, followed by residency training in Ophthalmology at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he served as Chief Resident. He is proud to return to Connecticut to care for his local community.

Dr. Wang provides comprehensive eye care for adults, with a special focus on cataract surgery and glaucoma management. He performs a wide range of procedures, including in-office laser treatments and advanced microinvasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS). His approach is patient-centered, emphasizing clear communication and informed decision-making to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wang has published multiple peer-reviewed papers in ophthalmology journals and has presented at regional and national meetings. He is committed to continuous learning and stays current with the latest research to provide evidence-based care. Outside of work, he enjoys fencing and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines.
