About Me
Dr. Varsha Manjunath is an ophthalmologist who practices at Kaiser Permanente in Seattle. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and moved to New Hampshire in her teens. She has lived in several cities including Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, and Durham, North Carolina, for her education and training. She now considers Seattle home, where she lives with her husband, toddler, and golden doodle puppy.
Dr. Manjunath's practice focuses on adult comprehensive ophthalmology, complex cataract surgery, and the medical management of glaucoma and retinal diseases. She also performs functional eyelid procedures. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Manjunath finds the comprehensive nature of ophthalmology rewarding and enjoys the ability to restore vision, which significantly improves her patients' quality of life. She works within a collaborative team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other specialists at Kaiser Permanente.
Outside of work, Dr. Manjunath enjoys cooking with her family, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors walking and hiking. She maintains a healthy, vegetarian diet and values the positive impact of laughter and smiling.
