About Me

Dr. Uri S. Soiberman is a cornea specialist and ophthalmic surgeon at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He cares for patients with keratoconus and other corneal conditions that can blur vision, cause glare, or make contact lenses difficult. His goal is to protect the health of the cornea while helping patients see as clearly and comfortably as possible.

He offers advanced options for keratoconus, including corneal collagen crosslinking and surgical techniques such as deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty and other corneal transplants. For Fuchs endothelial dystrophy and corneal swelling, he performs endothelial keratoplasty procedures such as DMEK, DSEK and DSO. Dr. Soiberman also specializes in complex cataract surgery and can help patients choose specialty intraocular lenses, including astigmatism-correcting and multifocal lenses. He performs surgery for dislocated lenses and secondary lens implantation when needed.
