Dr. Scott Butikofer is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist caring for patients in Pueblo and Southern Colorado since 2017. He specializes in cataract surgery and precise intraocular lens planning, and manages a wide range of eye conditions with a calm, attentive manner. Dr. Butikofer completed his ophthalmology residency at the UMKC School of Medicine, where he was twice voted Consultant of the Year, following medical school at the University of Washington and a transitional year at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Dr. Sarah Dech is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical eye care for patients across the Estes Park area. A Michigan native, Dr. Dech studied with distinction at the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated magna cum laude. She completed an internship at Ascension St. John in Detroit followed by ophthalmology residency at Tufts Medical Center/New England Eye Center in Boston. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and enjoys educating patients and families about preventive eye health.

Dr. Gregory Fliney is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a focus on cataract, glaucoma, and eyelid surgery. He combines modern surgical technology with a thoughtful, educational style so patients understand their choices—whether that’s premium cataract lens options, minimally invasive glaucoma procedures, or rejuvenating eyelid surgery. Dr. Fliney graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at Yale University, and studied biology and psychology at the University of Colorado Denver, graduating summa cum laude. He offers MIGS alongside medical therapy to reduce drop burden, and performs functional and cosmetic eyelid procedures, including blepharoplasty and brow lift.
