Dr. Todd Berger

Dr. Todd Berger is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal specialist at Updegraff Laser Vision in St. Petersburg, Florida. He provides medical and surgical care for a wide range of retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and vitreous hemorrhages.

Dr. Berger completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, graduating magna cum laude, and earned his medical degree from the State University of New York. He performed his internship at Staten Island Hospital and his ophthalmology residency at SUNY Health Science Center. He then pursued subspecialty training with a medical retina fellowship at New York University and a surgical retina fellowship at the Vitreo-Retinal Foundation, University of Tennessee. Dr. Berger has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
