Dr. Tineke Chan

Dr. Tineke Chan is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of pediatric eye disorders ranging from amblyopia, strabismus, cataracts, blocked tear ducts, and retinopathy of prematurity. She also provides care for adults with eye motility or misalignment (strabismus) disorders.

Dr. Chan completed her medical training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, then completed her residency in ophthalmology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and spent another year in fellowship further specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a fellow of both the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
