About Me
Dr. Timothy E. Marra is an ophthalmologist who blends exceptional medical expertise with a strong sense of service and dedication to his patients. After earning his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued ophthalmology, completing his residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Marra is committed to advancing eye care through clinical practice and education. His broad medical foundation is enriched by his unique experience as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Navy, where he completed an internship in Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and served for seven years, including a deployment to Afghanistan.
Dr. Marra brings the discipline and precision from his military service, along with his academic and clinical expertise, to provide compassionate, comprehensive care. He is deeply committed to improving the health and vision of each patient, ensuring personalized attention and the highest level of care.
