About Me
Dr. Karl A. Rosen brings extensive experience and dedication to his ophthalmology practice, rooted in academic achievement and a rich medical background. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University in 1998 before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in 2002.
Following medical school, he completed a general surgery internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and served as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Navy from 2004 to 2007. During this time, he earned the Navy Commendation Medal, was nominated for Navy Flight Surgeon of the Year, and received the Navy Achievement Medal, showcasing his excellence and commitment.
Dr. Rosen further enriched his healthcare perspective by working as a general practitioner in New Zealand from 2007 to 2008. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2011, refining his surgical precision and patient care skills. As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, he stays at the forefront of eye care advancements, ensuring compassionate and comprehensive treatment for all patients.
