Dr. Timothy Mcgarity

Dr. Timothy McGarity is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care at Restoration Eye Care in Columbia, Missouri. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. McGarity previously served on the medical faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology before founding Restoration Eye Care in 2011.

He has since expanded access to eye care by opening additional clinic locations in Macon, Osage Beach, Kirksville, and Laurie. Dr. McGarity performs thousands of surgeries and procedures, specializing in advanced cataract surgery, glaucoma implants, and laser treatments including iLASIK. He utilizes advanced technology and diagnostic devices to achieve tailored surgical results for each patient. Dr. McGarity routinely lectures and trains other physicians and has been recognized with a Newsweek Best Ophthalmologist Top 20 award.
