Dr. Timber Gorman

Dr. Gregory G. Gensheimer is an ophthalmologist with MaineHealth, providing medical and surgical eye care focused on protecting long-term vision. Dr. Gensheimer completed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital and earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Linda Schumacher-Feero is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has cared for patients in central Maine for many years. She joined Atlee Gleaton Eye Care in 1999 and is known for thoughtful, attentive visits that focus on both comfort and long-term eye health. She has a special interest in evaluating and treating dry eye symptoms, helping patients find practical relief and a plan they can follow at home. Dr. Schumacher-Feero was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Allegheny College, she attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has served as teaching faculty at Veterans Administration medical centers in Togus and Washington, DC, and she volunteers with EyeCare America through the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She strives to deliver careful, evidence-based care with clear guidance at each step.

Deborah I. Witkin, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Eye Care of Maine in Waterville. She welcomes patients for full-spectrum medical and surgical eye care and is especially interested in small-incision cataract surgery, glaucoma, and the medical management of retina conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Witkin earned her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency through the Tufts program. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Witkin offers individualized cataract surgery planning, including monofocal, toric, and multifocal intraocular lens options, and performs micro-invasive glaucoma surgery when appropriate. She partners closely with each patient to explain findings, set clear expectations, and design practical treatment plans that fit daily life. Outside the clinic, she enjoys outdoor activities throughout Maine with her family.
