About Me

Dr. Theodore Curtis is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children and adults with eye disease and vision problems. He specializes in diagnosing and treating congenital eye conditions, crossed eyes and other alignment problems, and eye conditions that can affect vision over time, using both medical and surgical approaches.

Dr. Curtis completed a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute, an ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and medical education at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Maine. Raised in the Bangor area, he returned to Maine in 2021 to serve the community where he grew up and values practical, family-centered care that fits each patient’s needs.
