About Me
Dr. Jeffrey L. Berman is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive care for eye problems in infants and children. He treats conditions such as eye muscle imbalances and blocked tear ducts, and he helps families understand the best path forward—whether that means careful monitoring, office-based treatment, or surgery when needed. Dr. Berman also evaluates and treats strabismus and double vision in adults.
He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed ophthalmology residency training at Montefiore Medical Center–Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then pursued fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the University of Kentucky. In addition to clinical care, he serves as a consulting ophthalmologist for the neonatology unit at Maine Medical Center, evaluating the eye health of premature infants.
