Meet Dr. Sudip Dilip Thakar

Dr. Sudip Thakar is an oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in functional, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, brows, and face. His expertise includes repair of droopy eyelids and brow ptosis, eyelid tumor management with post-Mohs reconstruction, treatment of eyelid and canalicular trauma, evaluation and surgery for tearing and lacrimal drainage dysfunction, eye-removal procedures, care for thyroid eye disease, and Botox and filler injections. He focuses on restoring function, comfort, and natural-looking results.

Dr. Thakar earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, and finished an oculofacial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Duke University before joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2024. He partners closely with patients to understand their goals and guide them through personalized, evidence-based care plans.
