Dr. Stuart Newman

Dr. Stuart J. Newman is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. He treats a wide range of conditions and offers services including eye exams, contact lens fittings, refractive surgery, and corneal refractive therapy (CRT). Dr. Newman introduced CRT to the Thomas Eye Group in 2002.

He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Newman is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
