Meet Dr. Steven B Thom

Dr. Steven Thom is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care at Lake Region Healthcare's Fergus Falls Main Clinic. A native of Fergus Falls, he has been serving patients in the area since 2008, offering treatment for a variety of eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Thom completed his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by a residency at Wills Eye Hospital and an internship at Hennepin County Medical Center. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and holds an academic appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, where he contributes to the training of future physicians.
