Born near Toronto, he earned his medical degree from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and began his career as a junior doctor in London. He then moved to the United States to complete a general surgery internship and ophthalmology residency at BronxCare Health System in New York City, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Dr. Lau provides patient-centered medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye conditions, with a particular focus on individualized glaucoma treatment.
