About Me
Dr. Stacy Scofield-Kaplan is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery (oculoplastics). She evaluates and treats concerns involving the eyelids, tear drainage system, and orbit (the tissues around the eye), combining functional care with attention to comfort and appearance.
Her clinical focus includes eyelid surgery, ptosis repair, management of eyelid tumors or lesions, nasolacrimal surgery for tear drainage problems, and orbital procedures such as orbital decompression and other orbital surgeries. She also provides nonsurgical options, including Botox and filler injections, and offers cosmetic eyelid and filler procedures when appropriate. Dr. Scofield-Kaplan earned her medical degree from Columbia University and completed residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital (Columbia Campus), followed by an oculoplastics fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She works with patients to understand their goals, explain options clearly, and tailor a plan that supports long-term eye health and confidence.
