Dr. Geeta Been

Dr. Geeta Been is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery. Her primary expertise is in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and the tear drainage system. She also specializes in non-surgical options including Botox®, facial fillers and laser resurfacing.

Dr. Been was born and raised in Iowa. She completed her undergraduate and medical school education at the University of Iowa. Her residency training was at The University of Chicago in ophthalmology. She completed a prestigious fellowship in Oculoplastics in Salt Lake City, UT with Dr. John McCann and Dr. Rick Anderson. She then returned to Chicago and served on staff at Loyola University.

Dr. Geeta Been offers patients a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. She enjoys performing a full facial analysis with each patient and finding what procedures would best achieve the patient’s functional and aesthetic goals.
