Dr. Krishna Patel

Dr. Krishna B. Patel is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in oculofacial plastic surgery. She specializes in surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and tear duct system, with a focus on both reconstructive and cosmetic concerns around the eyes.

She completed a combined six-year undergraduate and medical program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, followed by ophthalmology residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. She then completed a two-year fellowship sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta.

Dr. Patel treats conditions such as drooping eyelids, eyelid malpositions, tearing, blepharospasm, eyelid tumors and skin cancers, and orbital tumors, as well as cosmetic procedures like blepharoplasty and brow lifts. She is also active in teaching and helps coordinate resident education as an Assistant Professor at Rush University.
