Dr. Soraiya Thura

Dr. Soraiya Thura is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at See Clearly Vision. She offers modern cataract surgery with a full range of lens options and also brings specialized experience in ocular oncology, with a clinical interest in anterior segment and ocular surface tumors. Patients appreciate her calm communication style and the way she blends precision surgery with thoughtful, individualized follow-up to help them see clearly and comfortably.

Dr. Thura earned her MD from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. She completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where she served as the program’s first Chief Resident. She then completed an ocular oncology fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (University of Miami), followed by a refractive cataract surgery fellowship with Dr. Scott LaBorwit at Select Eye Care/Vision Innovation Partners.
