Dr. Sharon Napier

Dr. Sharon Napier is a board-certified ophthalmologist and chief of pediatric ophthalmology at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. She has more than 30 years of experience and specializes in diagnosing, treating and managing eye problems in children.

Dr. Napier received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where she completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in pediatric and adult strabismus. She received advanced training in oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Napier also earned a master’s in business administration (MBA) at the University of Kentucky and trained as a registered nurse.

Dr. Napier is board certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a fellow of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a member of the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Napier previously served as an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky. Her dedication to teaching and patient care has been recognized nationally with Top Doctor and Best Doctor awards, and she has also contributed to numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.
