About Me
Dr. Serrhel G. Adams, Jr. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in retina and vitreous conditions. He is the first two-year fellowship trained retina specialist in Northwest Arkansas and has been serving the region since 2008. Dr. Adams leads Northwest Arkansas Retina Associates, P.A. as President and Physician, providing advanced retinal care to patients in Springdale and the surrounding areas.
With a strong commitment to comprehensive retinal health, Dr. Adams offers a range of diagnostic, surgical, and office-based treatments. His practice is equipped to manage complex retinal diseases, and he maintains full admitting and surgical privileges at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
Dr. Adams completed his retina fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville and his ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. He also holds a Ph.D. in psychology from Louisiana State University, which informs his patient-centered approach. His extensive training and experience allow him to provide cutting-edge retinal care, including participation in clinical research studies.
