Dr. Scott Mcclintic

Dr. Scott McClintic is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal diseases and surgery at Retina Consultants in Salem, Oregon. He completed his medical degree with honors at The Ohio State University and his residency at the University of California, San Francisco. His advanced training includes a retinal surgery fellowship at OHSU's Casey Eye Institute and additional study of retinal disease at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Dr. McClintic remains actively involved in clinical research as a principal investigator for multiple trials and has published his work in textbooks and prestigious journals. He is an active member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and serves on the Sustainability Committee. Committed to philanthropy, he volunteers with the Casey Eye Institute’s Community Outreach Mobile Clinic and has participated in international surgery missions in Ghana, Haiti, and Vietnam.
