Dr. Monica Michelotti is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retinal surgery, providing expert care for patients with retinal conditions. Born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico, she pursued her higher education at the University of Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors. She then attended the University of Michigan for medical school, graduating with honors, and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Kellogg Eye Center.
To specialize further, Dr. Michelotti undertook advanced training in retinal surgery at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute. Her dedication to the field is evident through her invitations to present at international institutions and conferences, where she shares her work on improving the quality of care delivered by eye care providers.
