Dr. Scott Allen

Dr. Scott D. Allen is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing in Farmington, New Mexico, where he has provided comprehensive eye care for over 20 years. He has a special interest in cataract and refractive surgery, and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Allen cares for patients with a range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, corneal and external diseases, retinal issues, and oculoplastic concerns.

Dr. Allen completed his medical training at UCLA Medical School and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri, Mason Institute of Ophthalmology, where he served as Chief Resident. He has held leadership roles as Chief of Surgery at San Juan Regional Medical Center and as Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of the Four Corners Ambulatory Surgery Center. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Allen has participated in international medical missions providing eye care in Haiti.
