Dr. Sara Hojjatie

Dr. Sara Hojjatie is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Eye MDs of Puget Sound, where she is dedicated to preventing blindness in the community and helping patients achieve their best possible vision. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, and completed her undergraduate degree at Georgia Tech. Dr. Hojjatie attended medical school at Emory University, where she was involved in research focusing on infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eye.

After medical school, Dr. Hojjatie moved to the Pacific Northwest to complete her residency training at the University of Washington. She is excited to remain in the region and join the team at Eye MDs of Puget Sound. The practice uses cutting-edge technology to diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions, and Dr. Hojjatie is part of a team that provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. She lives in Tacoma with her husband and their miniature goldendoodle, and in her free time, she enjoys pottery, gardening, and trying out new recipes.
