Dr. Sandra Cho

Dr. Sandra Y. Cho is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care at Tarantino Cho Eye Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. She specializes in cataract surgery and other anterior segment procedures, offering treatment for a range of eye conditions. Dr. Cho is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been with the practice since 2006.

A Baltimore native, Dr. Cho completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University and earned her medical degree from New York University in 2001. She pursued advanced training with an internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital, an ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital, and a cornea fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center/Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Her research on cornea and refractive surgery has been presented at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Cho has been recognized with Maryland Gazette Readers Choice awards for several years. She is affiliated with Baltimore Washington Medical Center and Snowden River Surgery Center.
