Dr. Samantha Dewundara

Dr. Samantha Dewundara is a fellowship trained, board-certified ophthalmologist at Virginia Eye Consultants specializing in glaucoma and urgent eye care. She provides comprehensive management for glaucoma patients, including medical and surgical treatments, and addresses a wide range of urgent eye conditions to ensure timely and effective care.

Dr. Dewundara completed her ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute and pursued an advanced training fellowship in glaucoma diagnosis and treatment with Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts Ear and Eye Infirmary. She is also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
