Dr. Saima Jalal

Dr. Saima Jalal is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Fox Valley Ophthalmology, serving patients in St. Charles and Elgin, Illinois. She specializes in sutureless cataract surgery and treats a range of eye conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Jalal also offers cosmetic procedures such as blepharoplasty and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation using Botox and dermal fillers.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Jalal earned her medical degree from Northwestern University. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Louis Weiss Memorial Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester, joining Fox Valley Ophthalmology in 2007. She is a member of several professional organizations.

Dr. Jalal is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and conversational Japanese. She and her family are proud to call the Fox Valley area home.
