About Me
Dr. Maamari is an ophthalmologist specializing in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, caring for patients with eyelid, tear-duct, and orbital conditions. His clinical focus includes eyelid and orbital diseases, eyelid malpositions such as ptosis, ectropion, and entropion, thyroid eye disease, and reconstruction after trauma. He also offers care for eyelid lesions and skin cancers, as well as treatment for blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm.
He completed ophthalmology residency training at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and pursued fellowship training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, and completed a research fellowship through UC San Francisco/Research to Prevent Blindness.
