Dr. Robert Baker

Dr. Robert H. Baker is an ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in ophthalmic plastic surgery, focusing on conditions of the eyelids and orbit. He has operated a solo private practice, the New Rochelle Eye Institute, for more than 20 years. He treats a range of eyelid and orbital disorders, including ptosis, eyelid tumors, and tear duct conditions, and performs both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Baker is an attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Montefiore New Rochelle, and also performs surgery at Empire State Ambulatory Surgery Center. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Baker serves as president of the Westchester County Board of Health.
